We got a break

I wasn't the only person to head down to Ben Gill Park during a break in the rain. It's suppose to finally start to clear up today. I was going to use this for Skywatch Friday, but I have another photo I like for that. This is how our sky has looked since last Thursday.

Tonight is the last show for Big Brother 11. Who will be crowned chamption? Look for me in next years Big Brother 12. If you think you have what it takes, fill out an application.

First week of the NFL is history and I could have done better in my picks. This week no homer picks. I ended the week 12-4.

Very nice composition!

Answering to your question about the snails: yes, that's just for one person! :-)

Is that straight-up or with the spread? Pretty good, regardless.

Am I ever glad I clicked on this one, Jim. It's fabulous.

You'll never guess who called my work today? Someone doing research for the Oprah show! After I gave him a phone number where he might could get the answer he was looking for, I just had to tell him how much I enjoyed the BEP Flash Mob Dance! He said, "You liked it!" I said, "Yes, I wished I'd been there dancing!" He was so tickled and said that he'd be sure to pass that along to the team who had worked on it, that everyone there couldn't believe how great it went. Then I told him that Oprah always makes me feel good, but that the BEP performance and the dancing had made me feel stupendous! He thanked me again and we said good-bye.

Thanks, Jim! Without your inimitable help, I would not have been able to share that special moment with that Oprah guy!
