The City of Terrell sent out a card yesterday promoting the city.  To my surprise, one of my pictures was used.  It was one I sent to the Tribune of the Tigers baseball team during the playoffs.

A fun weekend of football is over, back to work. 

Forney kid plays in AT&T Stadium for West Texas A&M

Chazz Slatinsky from Forney is a Freshman at West Texas A&M.  Yesterday his team played in AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys.  His team came away with a thrilling 52-38 win over Tarleton State.  

Big homecoming win for the Tigers

The Tigers beat North Forney last night 46-7.

Morning showers and an afternoon temperature in the 80s made for a nice afternoon.

It was close, but the Tigers lost to North Mesquite 3 sets to 1. 

Running and baseball

Ok, not baseball but an empty baseball stadium.  Yesterday was the Texas Rangers Labor Day 5K.  It started outside Globe Life Park in Arlington and finished on the 3rd base side of the field.  You could walk around the outer edge of the field after the race.  For me, thats worth the drive, cost to enter the race and the heat and humidity.
