Tigers drop home opener

The Tigers lost to state ranked Corsicana last night in their home opener 7-1.  Corsicana took advantage of home opener nerves to score 3 times in the first inning. Terrell had its chances, but could never put together a big inning.  The play in the I-45 Classic starting Thursday in Palmer.

Cowtown 10K

Saturday morning was the Cowtown 10K in Ft. Worth.  This is the 3rd year Brian and I have ran it.  I really need to work on my time.  I was 5 minutes slower this year than last.  I'm sure stopping to take pictures has nothing to do with it.

B.H. Daves 218

This is the back of the local appliance store. A month or so ago, they donated a washer to the Terrell Animal  Adoption Center. I love the back doors.  I edited the picture with Corel Paint Shop Pro.

Its time for baseball season, but one more basketball picture.  I don't think #11 will be sending a valentine to #44 the shooter anytime soon.

Dash for Beads

Yesterday was the Dash for Beads 5K in the Bishop Arts District of Dallas.  I heard it the course was hard, lots of hills.  They were right, this was a hard run.  But I'd do it again next year.  Dog owners were encouraged to bring their pooches, the race benefited Fidoakcliff

A bright spot

The varsity boys basketball team have only two games remaining in the season after last nights 56-17 loss to Highland Park.  One bright spot for the Tigers has been the play of the underclassmen including freshman Dawonya Tucker who was promoted to varsity a few games ago.  He scored 9 of the 17 points for the Tigers.
