I like the results

Last night was the first time to take baseball pictures at night.  Terrell was playing in Palmer, TX, to far for me to drive to, so I went over the North Forney.  They won the game, and I like the pictures.

Look up to the stars

I've been reading up on my new D7100.  I want to get a neat shot of the starts, but it was 40 degrees last night, so maybe next time.

Tiger soccer gets an early start

The threat of rain pushed caused the boys varsity soccer match to start earlier than scheduled.  I only caught the last 20 minutes and shoot out.  The Tigers tied 1-1 but then lost the shoot out 6-5.

Tigers earn a spilt

Baseball season started yesterday with the Tigers playing as co-hosts for the Wills Point Tournament.  They dropped their first game 2-0 to Palmer and won their second game 7-0 over Winona.

Freshman Klayton Henderson pitched a complete game in the second game and Brian Wickersham hit a 2 run home run over the right field fence.  The Tigers have two more tournament games today.

I got my new camera in the mail! I used it yesterday morning for the first time. Now I need to go back and read the manual.   THANK YOU to everyone who helped me get it.

The Tigers held a 100 inning game Saturday morning. The varsity in red played the JV in grey. It was fast paced and fun.

Baseball weather

The Tigers had a scrimmage with Canton yesterday afternoon.  It was nice that the sun decided to join us.  I like the balls shadow on the pitchers hand.

In a game that was postponed on Tuesday night, the Tigers varsity defeated Crandall 5-2 last night at Memorial Stadium.  Kristof Kover scored 3 goals and had an assist for the Tigers.

Ready for Spring

Went for a short run yesterday afternoon.  Got across the bridge then it started to sleet.  I wouldn't mind the wet weather if it helped the lake levels.  But I don't think its been that wet.

Baseball work

Terrell and North Forney are only 10 miles apart and district rivals.  One of the Terrell assistant coaches from last year is now coaching at North Forney.  Zach Geer was an assistant coach for Terrell, hes now the assistant coach for his father Rick Geer at North Forney.  The Tigers are still my team, but I hope North Forney does well also....just not against Terrell.

My North Forney pictures are from last year.  So far the weather has the upper hand against them when it comes to trying to get in scrimmage.

Out at home

Terrell Tiger catcher Carson Nitchske blocks home plate and tags a Sulphur Springs runner out during yesterdays baseball scrimmage.

Just a dusting

We really didn't get a lot of snow.  I guess what made it bad was it was during morning rush hour and the temperature never got above 30.

This is the Courthouse for Rockwall County.  One county north of Terrell.

Tiger soccer

The Tigers fought hard, tied Forney 3-3 but lost in kicks.
