Last night was the Herman Furlough Middle School Band Christmas Concert.  The 7th and 8th grade bands each got to take the stage for separate performances.  They both sounded great.

My view from the front...once I got there

I was in corral 23 at the start of the Rock n Roll San Antonio Half Marathon.  It took a while to get up to the front, but its always worth it.  I loved the race and the hills, lol.

#TBT from 2010 Wills Point Rodeo

The National Finals Rodeo begins tonight in Las Vegas.  Clayton Hass, from Terrell, will be competing in his first NFR.  Clayton competes in steer wrestling.

This isn't steer wresting, but the best I can do.  Throw Back Thursday is from a rodeo in Wills Point, TX in 2010.

Houston 35, SMU 9

Demarcus Ayers who attended Terrell HS for his Freshman and Sophomore years made is return to the Dallas area yesterday as a sophomore member of the Houston Cougar football team.  Demarcus graduated from Lancaster HS and played basketball and football through out high school.  I would like to think there are a few that play for the Tigers now who can follow in Demarcus' footsteps and play at the next level.

Mavericks game

One of the goodies of the Mavs Run This Town 5K last month was a ticket to a Dallas Mavericks game.  So last night was the game we picked.  We found out almost all of the parking around the arena was by pass only.  Even places we were told were cash, we were turned away because we didnt have  a pass.   After spending 45 minutes driving around looking for a cash parking lot we finally got inside just before tip-off.  The seats were wayyyyy up top. The Mavs lost and they looked horrible.  But I was able to take in my camera.
