Dr. L.E. Griffth home-Terrell Photowalk

For me one of the highlights of the Photowalk was to be able to walk the grounds of the Dr. L. E. Griffith home on 1st Street. Davis Griffith-Cox welcomed the photographers onto the grounds and answered any questions we had about his family or the home that was built in the mid 1800's.

Other photos from the grounds can be found at the Terrell Flickr Photowalk page. The Flickr page is a place for all of the Terrell photowalkers to upload their best shots from all over Terrell. We have a great collection so far from 14 walkers, check it out.

If you have reached this page through a search engine you may not be on the main page. Click Terrell Daily Photo at the top of the page to view the entire site. You can also search the site by typing in a keyword in the search blog box at the upper left, or clicking on one of the labels below. Feel free to explore and leave a comment.

elle est belle cette maison, bien à l'ombre, elle doit être agréable en plein été

Wa neat old home. Let's sit out on the lawn and sip Mint Juleps or something like that.
What fun to meet up with so many photographers. I bet you enjoyed everything. MB

Missed your post yesterday but I intend to go back and then to the Flickr site. These homes are wonderful, and this one is a beauty...large and so well-maintained. A photowalk must be a great opportunity!

Hard to believe it's still in the family after all those years.

I love the addition of the fence in the foreground to frame the shot naturally. :)

A gorgeous old home and how nice that you received such a nice welcome!

Do I need to speak a little louder?

A fun time to go hooting with other photog-bloggers. Especially when you get a personal tour.
