Theme day-Iran Protests

The picture below was taken by one of our City Daily Photo bloggers. I mentioned after the elections in Iran he had the most powerful images I had seen. I wasn't the only one as one of his photos was used as the cover of Life Magazine. Unfortunately he has now gone missing. It is feared by his family and friends that he has been arrested.

Today is a special Theme Day to support our fellow blogger and all Iranians who are being denied having their vote counted.



The photo above was taken during a silent march. Hundreds of thousands of protesters in Tehran marched without saying a word. They simply held their fingers in the air symbolizing V for victory.
