Deborah Kay's Sugar Rush 5K Race, Terrell, Texas

Saturday morning Ben Gill Park in Terrell played host to the Sugar Rush 5K Race and 1 Mile Fun Run. It was a great turnout, I would guess about a 100 runners and walkers, it was for a great cause and it looked like everyone had a great time. I will be posting more pictures of the race of the next few days.

WOW! You must have been at the head of the pack running backwards. To get such a great shot I mean. hehe. Did you notice the fellow on the right with the green shoes has both feet off the ground. Great catch. MB

Love those races as long as I'm not participating! ;-)

Re your post on my blog today: As soon as I can get my AOL service back, I'm going to email you privately. I do agree with what you said, BTW.

Ah, the good old days of running! Now I'd rather do it indoors on my treadmill with air conditioning! :-)

Did you run? The other day when we went to the lake, there was a big run for something, can't remember now, but the car line to get into the park was huge. We had no clue a race was going on till we got there. After the race, alot of the runners went in the lake for a swim!

You really have a good eye for action shots. This is great. I'm not a runner - I'm a distractible walker, but I like watching from the sidelines.
