Hey bud
I normally don't post flower photos, because I cant catch them just right, and most of my flowers look like they came from the discount bin. I guess I don't have a green thumb. I did find a nice rose that was just about to bloom that I thought looked nice. Of course its not from my yard.

I must say, Jim, that you got this flower just right. I can't imagine it being a better than it is. From the tiny details in the flower and leaf to the play of light and shadow on the rose itself. Nice work.

Looked at some blooming jasmine in the hills. 29 degrees here, but I couldn't get a decent shot. It's too wet and too hot for good roses here. This is a good shot. Does the varietal have a name?
