My reflection

Earlier this month I posted a reflection shot of the main drag through Terrell. At the same time I took that picture, I took this one. If you look closely in the reflection you can see D O R K written on my forehead. This is the shot I am now using for my profile picture. I think it looks a little better than the old picture.

Hi Jim, nice creative way to take a pic of yourself and show Terrell at the same time. But, what's with the dork thing? Self-deprecating humor is funny but don't dis yourself!

BTW, if you have some time on your hands this weekend there is a show of the best of Italy's works of art in Plano. They will be showing Ferrari's, Maserati's Lamborghini's as well as the occasional Porsche on International Drive in Plano. Liable to be some great photo ops.

Oh Jim I almost forgot your question. We have about a zillion cloudy days to 12 sunny days. Gray gray, gray. MB

What does «dork» mean?
If it is something bad, I do not agree! You seem such a wonderful friend!!!

I do like your new self-portrait, it's very creative. Not a dork there, but if you got on that little tiny dirt bike that was in my picture today, then maybe you would be! ;-) I'm sure you meant the 4-wheeler, not the bike, right?

I think it's really cool that you have the town behind you - it defines you as a City Blogger, doesn't it? Someday I'm going to do a new self-portrait too - on horseback, beside our town line sign - maybe you've given me the incentive to do it this weekend...

Hey from one camera dork to another. I thought your post was hilarious. I often feel goofy pulling out the digicam everytime I see something interesting (even while I should be paying attention to something else perhaps). BUT most people are now use to me doing this and are tolerant, even helpful -- sending me on a chase for a cool shot, offering to drive by something AGAIN, sitting with me while I wait for the right light or setting, etc. I think they actually might enjoy the results of our dorkiness Jim. :) Have a great weekend!
