Teaching fire safety-Terrell VFD
On hand yesterday at the Kaufman County YMCA Healthy Kids Day was the Terrell Volunteer Fire Department. They were there to teach kids the importance of fire safety. Mom, Dad and Grandma let me take a picture of these brothers checking out the fire fighting and rescue equipment.

Wow, you guys have sure had some exciting weather lately!
Great photo - it brings to mind grade school field trips to the fire station, where we'd be given red plastic firemen hats, and were allowed to slide down the fireman pole. What a great time that was.
That looks like it would be great fun. Hope that they got to give the hose a quick spray!
