Here comes the rain again

Guess what it did last night and what it is doing right now, what its suppose to do tonight? Of course Terrell High School has a hoome baseball game scheduled for tonight.

Here is a screen capture of the radar from WFAA-TVs website from Dallas from this morning.

The local news is reporting a lot of damage in the Dallas area from this mornings storm. I hope all of the Dallas area Daily Photo bloggers are safe.

What a wet beginning to spring. Hopefully, this trend will end soon.

Now you know the magic of open water bird baths in the far north, heated birdbaths.

In Portugal we even say that "April, thousand waters", so I guess it's alright with having all the showers we are having around gere to.

Ooooo, Terrell is right in that nasty red area. No game in the rain.
RE. tides--I suppose a 1/4 day in and 1/4 day out. It does it twice a day. MB

From what I have heard on the news you have been getting hit hard this spring. I hope you are staying dry. I'd guess that many of the farmers are happy with the rain?

I don't mind the rain as long as I'm inside the house with stocked food!! =)

And I'll trade the rain with the pollen allergies....=(

Your photo of the baseball field reminds me of the scene in the movie Bull Durham when the players give themselves a day off by engineering a rain out. "Oh my goodness. We've got ourselves a natural disaster!" Only yours is real, of course, not faked with a sprinkler system. And you didn't actually want to be rained out. Good luck to your team when their season can finally open!

your place looks like my place. Are you sure you don't live closer to me than 1,000 miles?

We had quite the storm last night. Then, at about 4 AM, the warning sirens started blaring. So, I had the kids come downstairs and we all huddled in our safe room, where we fell asleep!

I don't think we had any damage. At least I hope not. The roofers finished installing the new roof yesterday afternoon. The new gutters went up today.

I can tell that Spring has gotten serious in Terrell!

I hate to hear of damage. The storms the past year or two have been quite fierce, haven't they? We are forecast to have some tonight, too.

Did the Tigers get to play their game? Is it declared a draw?
