Theme day-Waiting

December's Theme Day is Waiting. I caught these guys waiting for a bite up at Lake Texoma a few weeks ago. They may still be there waiting for just one bite......a nibble.....anything.....

My fantasy football team won. Playoffs start next week and I am still fighting to get in. If I win next week, I am in.

Tough week for my NFL picks, finishing 8-8. I will bounce back next week. My season record is 115-61.

I watched my first little bit of NHL hockey last night before Monday Night Football. Hockey is still boring, I think its one of those sports where if your team isn't playing, there is no interest in it.

I got a Google Wave invitation from Christina, but I haven't had time to do anything with it.

A casting call for the next edition of Survivor will be on December 12th, but in Ft. Worth. Not sure I can make it out there, thats the same day as the Terrell Christmas Parade.

this is a great choice for the theme day of waiting and that is great that your football team won!

WAITING for a strike while fishing is a relaxing and enjoyable activity, which is not always true for other kinds of WAITING games!

I'm sure they don't mind the wait..isn't the saying something like "a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work?"...Happy Theme Day!

To anyone who has ever fished, this is perfect.

Aw go to the survivor tryouts. If you don't go you will always wonder..... MB

I think you should try to make it to the casting call. The Christmas parade comes every year, but this could be just the right casting call — you never know.

Fishing does involve a lot of waiting!

I think a lot of folks had the same idea due to their past experience with fishing!

We used to fish Lake Texoma a lot...and usually didn't have to wait, especially when the white bass were around...we'd bait two hooks and catch two at a time...clean and filet them and we ate these delicious creatures all year!

The word 'waiting' really fits here! :-)

Perfect! Fishermen "wait"... that's what they do!
(until they are disturbed by the arrival of fish.)

I've never got the point of fishing. All that waiting around! Great post for the theme.

Fishing is waiting and drinking beer. What could be better?!
