Skywatch Friday-Lake Texoma

These are from our trip up to Lake Texoma a few weeks ago. I couldn't decide which picture to use, so you get two. This is actually Shawn's lake, he just let me visit.

Tonight the Tiger baseball team hosts the Jackrabbits from Forney. Game time is 7:30.
The Tribune has stories about the Tigers boys baseball and girls softball teams. Both teams have already clinched spots in the playoffs. Be sure to read both stories and congratulate them on a great season......so far.

Wow! In that first snap, all clouds lead to the horizon line!!!

Beautiful sky. I haven't been to Lake Texoma since 1997... it does not seem to have changed. :)

I really like how the clouds seem to be pointing towards one location on the horizon.

Gotta go for both. Those clouds do line up so well and that top shot reflection is terrific.

fantastic images. I really like the way you used the dock to frame the picture in the second shot.

Beautiful photos!

Have you ever heard of Preston Fishing Camp...we'd go up there when we lived in Mesquite...that's a long time ago, though...

Jim: Great SWF over a super lake. It looks like it should be time to put some boats at the docks.

Double your pleasure, double your fun, with Jim's Terrell Daily Photo, that's the one!

Thanks, Jim.

By the way, I saw an article about those speedsters in Oregon in today's Oregonian. That's the highway Mama and I travel back and forth to the casino, but I'm way careful about my speed; I even use the cruise control. They've got these safety corridors here on state highways where all fines are doubled!

When I read your comment about the Buick to Mama, who saw the story on last night's local news, she cackled out loud. Wish you coulda heard her, you'd have joined right in.

Go Tigers!!!!
Go Blazers!!!!
Go Talladega!!!!
