Skywatch Friday-Snow kidding

I don't know how much snow we got in Terrell, Texas, but I would guess 7"-8". Normally when we get snow its an inch maybe two and is gone within a few hours. At times it looked like the snow flakes were as larger as quarters. Not much sky to see.

Other Skywatch Friday sites can be found here.

Looks like Idaho to me!!!! Good luck missing all the crazy drivers slip sliding along.

That does look like a lot of snow for Texas! Terrific shot, Jim! Hope you have a great weekend!

You have had more snow this year than we have had here in Alaska. We have had less than an inch since September 09, and we have been having record warm temps now since December.

Funky shot for Texas...but it will all melt rather quickly, I'd guess.

My place of work was closed down today. We got around 4 to 6 inches but it's starting to melt already.
