Go Greyhound

I remember taking Greyhound from St. Louis, MO to Hayward, CA when I was a kid.  I loved being able to stop at all of the small towns.  I would settle for a morning bus from Terrell to Dallas with an evening return trip.

Fifty-eight or 59 years ago I took a Greyhound from Des Moines, Iowa to a small town north of Minneapolis. Twelve hours ... scary to a young kid.

The good ol' days!

Very nice photo of a vintage bus station, Jim. Is it in St. Louis?

Now I'll guess that it's in Dallas and you took the photo while on break from jury duty duties.

HAHA, yep, Dallas. They give us over an hour for lunch, so there is a lot of time to walk around....with camera...

I took greyhound across southern Georgia once. It was fun the first 10 towns. Then next 20 were endless.
