Terrell Tribune

A week or so ago I was looking back over my Tiger baseball pictures from last year and I came across this post from one year ago today. Our little small town newspaper may have taken its lumps over the last year, but it survived. Last month Michael Gresham was named the new editor and publisher of the Tribune. Michael blogs at Obstructed View and is off to a great start at the Tribune. He has a great team in place and community expectations are high.

On a related note, today is the community wide clean up for Kaufman County. While cleaning out the garage yesterday I found a Tribune from January 14, 2003. I really need to clean it more often.

Interesting post about the paper. Yikes 2003--clean up more often is right. LOL MB

I'm glad that you still have a viable newspaper and a good person to run it!

Good news that they're making it. Coming from the news biz myself, I still think there has to be an outlet for local news and happenings. I hope folks don't forget that.
