Skywatch Friday-As the storm passed

How could I do a Skywatch Friday post without a picture of the sky from last Saturday night.

This is looking east just after the main line passed over.

Looking west, the rain stopped for a bit, then let us have it again.

It rained all night, along with thunder, lightning and no power.
The lightning may not show up very well in this picture.

The good news is the week is over and there is Terrell Tiger baseball tonight at Ben Gill Field. We should find out who Terrell will pay in the playoff by Saturday night.

For a list of all Skywatch Friday sites click here.

Click on each picture for a larger size. The see the rest of the site, click on Terrell Daily Photo on the main photo at the top of the page.

Scary storm. Do you take photos for the local paper?

Looks a lot like our afternoon Summer storms. We are the lightning capitol of the world, after-all. They still scare the heck out of me.

You get scarier ominous srorms than we do. Mean and moody images.

I have to admit, sometimes a big lightning storm is exciting since we get it only a few times a year. But, you must be sick of it and can't wait for summer. Hope it comes soon.
