Skywatch Friday-overlooking the lake

This is Lake Texoma from last weekend. It had rained an hour or so earlier and the clouds were just breaking up as the sun was setting.

For more Skywatch Friday sites click here.

Saturday July 18th, there will be a Terrell Photo Walk, part of Scott Kelby's Second Annual Worldwide Photo Walk. Its an opportunity to meet other photographers and take pictures of historic Terrell, Texas. Make your plans to be here. Click on the Terrell banner on the right for details or email me at Terrelldailyphoto@hotmail.com.

Love the photo with the greys and the pink

Might not make the Terrell Photo Walk however, the cab ride there and back might be a bit much!

Very fine photo, Jim. Not only are the colors great but it shows to some extent just how big Texoma is!

Great sunset. I wish the photo walk happened before I moved away from Texas. Darn.
Btw. a while back you asked me the name of the BBQ place in my post.
It was "Hard Eight BBQ" in Coppell. They have a covered simi outdoor grill area and use real wood. Also they have free jalapeno beans and bread. I've tried the steak, brisket, jalapeno sausage, ribs and chicken all are very good but the chicken is outstanding.

Beautiful sundown and reflections. I went to the Scott Kelby photo walk last year, but missed the get-together afterwards. I hope to do it again this year. Have fun!
