For Gustav updates from New Orleans, I recommend this site, Gustav Bloggers. I remember following Katrina from their updates in 2005.
It looks like our area could get the bad weather from Gustav later this week.
Pictured above are the Carrollton RL Turner Lionettes and band. They made the trip out to Terrell for the football game Friday night. They performed at half time for the crowd.

Terrell plays North Lamar, Paris, Texas this Friday. It will be my chance to get photos of the Terrell band.

I love to hear the band! At our new house, we are close enough to the high school that we can hear the band practice! We missed the first Friday night game but could hear it!
Marching bands rate above football sometimes at our house.

From what I read this morning it looks like Gustav will not be as bad as they had originally thought. I hope it doesn’t hit you or Texas too hard.
