Record breaker

With the temperature pushing past 100 yesterday, 2011 passed 1980 for the year with the most days 100 degrees or more.  Yesterday was day #70.  We still could use a few weeks of rain though.

The First Christian Church in Terrell will be a part of the Social Science Club Christmas home tour.  Its celebrating 135 years of ministry this weekend.

Tanya, you can send all that 60 degree weather here to southeast missouri... I'll store it up for the winter! =)

Another splendid night photo, Jim. Yesterday's photos are so good, too.

That is quite a building! I'd like to be on the tour, but only if the weather is a lot cooler than in the past. What a summer you Texans have had!!

Eye-yi-yi! That's hot, hot, hot! It was 91 here Monday night but it felt like 80 -- b/c of a wonderful breeze. Hang in there, autumn is coming! Love this building.
