Everyone is in a hurry

This is a different view for Moore.  I usually get my pictures with the traffic flow, not looking at the oncoming traffic.  At 5PM this road will be packed with people trying to get home to enjoy their weekend.

High School baseball playoffs started last night in Texas. Three of the four District 15-4A teams were in action.

Forney had their way with Hutto 12-1 and lead the best of 3 series, 1-0. Game 2 is Saturday in Corsicana. If Hutto wins game 2, the deciding game will start 30 minutes after game 2 ends.

Waxahachie defeated Hendrickson 5-4 and has a 1-0 lead in the best of 3 series. Game 2 is Saturday in College Station.

Red Oak dropped their game to Bryan Rudder 9-5 and are in a 1-0 in the best of 3 to Rudder. Game 2 is at Red Oak. If Red Oak wins that game, game 3 is 30 minutes after game 2.

Mesquite Poteet plays tonight against Pflugerville Connally in Waco in a 1 game playoff.

Last year every 15-4A team lost in the opening round of the playoffs.

Also, Rockwall Heath won their opening game against Frisco 7-3 and lead the series 1-0.

Jim, the photo is striking, highlighted by all of those traffic signals' backsides.

I love reading the names of the teams in the tournament--are all of them town names? Or are some of them school names instead?

Nice street shot. I like the way you can see forever.

I agree. Everyone seems to be running a race and I'm not sure why.
