Skywatch Friday-Go West

This is the same street as yesterdays post, looking West. The old Iris Theatre is on the left. Its home to Books and Crannies book store now. Saturday from 1 to 4 they are holding a book signing featuring local authors. Check their Facebook page for more info. Make sure you "like" their page while there.

Brian has a different type of iris posted on his site.

Tonight is the Relay for Life for Kaufman County. Hopefully, bad weather will stay away.

I am having baseball withdrawals already.

That is a great looking street view with evening headed in.

It sure looks like a narrow sidewalk. The lighting is perfect.

Moore Avenue is the main drag through the center of town and everything radiates out from it, right?

So very nice and quite typical...Glad to see the old theater is being put to good use.

How'd the Relay for Life go.

Re your comment on Ocala DP - I think you're right about the building! I'm sure it was a bank at one time, but don't know what it's used for now.
