Circular Park fountain

One more picture from the grounds of the State hospital. This fountain was part of the original grounds of the hospital when it opened in 1885. I am guessing its drained for winter.

Nice series of shots of the grounds and buildings. Although a shame the state allows the run-down buildings to continue to deteriorate, they make for interesting photos.

That is such a pretty fountain...lovely shot! They are smart to drain it for winter (to avoid situations like the one I shared a few posts ago).

Hmmm...it could easily been a NYC fountain.

Was there any change in the pond?

Post this one again when the water is back on!

I guess there's a danger of the thing cracking if it was full of ice.
