Old pipe organ

Brian and I made a trip to the Terrell Heritage Society Museum yesterday. That is the building in my header photo. They are open on the weekends. Its very neat inside. They have quite a bit about the history of Terrell, including thousands of photographs. I would love to take a scanner in there and get some of their photos online.

Here is a photo I took of the pipe organ that's kept on the second floor. The organ was originally in the First Baptist Church. It was used from 1912 till 1956 when the church moved into a new building and the organ stayed in the old building. The organ was moved to the Museum in the 80s when the old church building was demolished.

The organ still works. There is a sign that says if you know how to play, please do.
