I was going to post a picture from the MRI on my knee, but I decided against it. Instead you get a picture of the car and license plate I want. If you want to see one of the MRI pictures its posted on my sports blog, http://i4sports.wordpress.com/

1915 Model T Touring Car
Yesterday the Lone Star T's brought their Model T's to Terrell.
This is a 1915 Model T Touring Car

There were probably a dozen or so antique cars parked around the Terrell Heritage Museum.

Brian, has a couple of pictures posted of the cars. I'll have another shot of the cars tomorrow. I also posted a few shots on flickr.

63 Thunderbird
Anyone in the market for a 1963 Thunderbird?

The car is a year older than I am, so that must make it about 24 years old.
To see the price, click on the picture for a larger view. The price is on the windshield.
With the space shuttle Endeavour set to launch Wednesday, I have found another astronaut to follow on Twitter, Mark Polansky will be sending down twitter messages during the mission.

Flashback to the 70s
Have you ever looked at something and then remembered things from years ago that you forgot about?

I was driving from the store this morning and noticed this stock car on a trailer. I may not be the smartest out there, but I would guess the driver for the 98 car is Chris Davis. The picture isn't that great, but as soon as I saw it I flashed back over 30 years to when I was a child.
Back in the mid 70s, when I was just barely 10 years old, stock car racing was a Friday night must. I remember my Mom taking my sister and me to the Belle Clair Speedway in Belleville, IL. every week during the season. We would get their early and walk down into the pits. I would get to meet all of the drivers and sit in the cars. They would always have at least a half dozen races and I would have favorites for every race. The only car I remember is the 6699 car. He used the loops in the 6s for the loop in the 9s, similar to the hurricane symbol. That was so long ago.
We have a dirt track called Devils Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, not far from Terrell. I am going to have to make a trip out their one of these Saturday nights.

Lady bug flower bed-Glen Rose, TX
Todays post was inspired by two other photo bloggers. Mary Beth provided one half, and Jillys Metal themed post provided the other half. Check out there photos and you can see why.
This picture was taken in Glen Rose, TX. It sits outside of a store called The Junkyard Dog.

#18 in Winners circle
Kyle Busch is probably the most hated Nascar racer going this year. He also is the hottest. He won his 4th race of the year yesterday in Dover, DE. Here is my tribute to my favorite driver. I Hope he wins at least 4 more the rest of the year.

The Smart Car
I heard the rumors, but I didn’t believe them. They said in Europe that they named a car after me. No way, I thought. But then, I saw it. The car named after me, the Smart Car.

I was able to get this picture of the Smart car on I-30 in Rockwall. I apologize for not getting the entire car in the frame. It was rush hour, I was driving about 70mph, talking on the phone, drinking a soda, eating a candy bar, texting my BFF and smoking a cigarette. But I think I did pretty good, huh?
OK, it’s a joke. I don’t smoke.
OK, I was the passenger.
