Terrell, Texas Monday Morning Mashup

The carnival was in town over the weekend.  I stopped by Sunday afternoon for a few pictures.

We went and saw Rise of the Planet of the Apes at Hometown Cinema in Terrell on opening night.  Its a great movie, I would recommend it.  If you want to stay local and not spend a lot of money, try Hometown Cinema.

I missed it last week, but Terrell native Clayton Hass finished 2nd in Steer Wrestling at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo.

Sept. 16-18 is the Flights of our Fathers weekend.

Sign up for the Terrell Photowalk on October 1st. Its part of Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photowalk.

The new In-N-Out burger is coming along nicely in Rockwall. I am looking foward to its grand opening in the next month.

Terrell Tigers football season tickets are on sale till Thursday. Check the link to the right for a complete football schedule.

The 2011-2012 Tiger boys basketball schedule has been released. Find it under the recent documents at www.ihigh.com/terrelltigers or on the terrell isd website.

Fun times! We had a Greek festival this weekend. It was also a good place for photo ops. :)

I missed the carnival, worked and had plans for the other days. Hope I can attend the walk-depends on my schedule...

Jim, you certainly have a great, information-filled post today. Love that shot of the people on the green ride, not that I could go spinning around with them!

My boys want to see Planet of the Apes so it's good to hear a good review on it!

I didn't know you were getting an In N Out there...I grew up on that place and never understood the hype, still don't...can't stand their french fries either! Steak N Shake and Sonic are way better!
