Snow!

It snowed in Terrell!

OK, it snowed in February in Terrell.

The high temperature yesterday was 104. The thermometer is suppose top 100 for at least the next 7 days.

Terrell Tigers sports are about to kick into high gear. Last night Brian and I attended our first Terrell Athletic Booster Club meeting at the TISD complex.

The girls volleyball team started practicing yesterday. They have a pair of scrimmages later this week and open the season next Tuesday at home. The varsity starts at 6:30.

Summer football camp began yesterday for 7th and 8th graders. Almost 60 kids showed up.

Tigers football varsity starts practicing on August 9th.

Darn, it's hot everywhere this summer. I hope those coaches are mindful of the heat with those kids.

Aaah, now that's a refreshing shot! I'm cooler already. 96 degrees at 6 p.m. here last night. Ugh! It's a hot summer.

Great contrasts, Jim!

About the casino, we'd had better luck our last few trips. In fact I was able to buy myself a new iMac desktop which I am thoroughly enjoying. Maybe I'll do that again when we go on 8/14--if not, at least there will be a vintage auto show in the parking lot so I know I'll have some fun taking photos!

I'm not sure I like the snow any better than 100 plus degrees! In fact, I know I don't! That's why I'm in Florida. It was supposed to be 102 here yesterday.

This is somewhat cooling to look at.

I think I would prefer a dusting of snow to 100 degree weather.
I have been taking my grandboys to football practice for the last few weeks and last week they had football camp. It was fun to watch. Now it is back to practice everyday and the 14 is their jamboree. It seems too hot for football even here.
Thanks for the kind words about Kylee. MB

It's not suppose to snow that much down there & it isn't suppose to be this hot up here - Mother Nature needs to get her crap straight!!! LoL!

High here yesterday was 100. Heat index was even higher and I think it's more of the same today. This snow does look nice and cool!
