Theme day-Contrast

Its the 1st so its Theme Day in the City Daily Photo world. This months theme is contrast. This is the best I could do. This 4" TV is from 1981, it worked up until they switched to digital TV this year. Oh so long ago, LOL.

What a gorgeous old television. Does it work? A different choice for today's theme.

Mine still works fine. I don't think those color ones will catch on.

So unfortunate. We've got one sort of like that. It's for hurricanes 'cause it runs on batteries. I hadn't thought about the fact it won't work anymore.

Sheesh!

we just went digital yesterday and had to retune our TVs - Now I'm still getting messages saying on the TV that I have to do it if I haven't done it already - so annoying.

This is a great choice for the theme. Its amazing how technology has changed in a relatively short space of time.

Does it take a cable connection? If you do, I bet you can bring it back to life.

Regarding the Slide-tanic, yes, you climb up underneath the ship's smokestacks. Looks a little claustrophobic to me.

I do like the lateral thinking on this for the theme. I remember tv's looking like that too.
