The first hybrid?

Anyone have any idea what kind of vehicle this is? Maybe an old milk truck?

I would say an old ambulance.

It does look like an old milk truck but the front end looks more pick up truck with the body added on. Maybe someone did it to have a delivery truck or weird camper. Good shot though. MB

I'm with Olivier. Looks like an ambulance, but kinda short.

It looks antique whatever it was used for!

Yeah...I vote for old milk truck. Lot's of stories in that truck I bet.... A lot of "Milkman" stories... ((smile))

Is it still running? As you said, seems to have a lot of stories with it...

It looked like an old van that transport money to and from the bank? Talking about money, the God of Fortune is visiting my blog. :)

Cool truck. Definitely looks like it hauled something that needed to be kept cold.

For sure it's an armored milk truck, Jim! :)

I, too, was going to say it looks like an ambulance in the front, but an armor truck in the back. It is parked by an ATM. The front wheels look awfully small.

I remember the milk man coming every day and the truck he drove. As far back as the late 60's.
And the Bread trucks and the ice cream man in white uniforms and the dry cleaners who came to YOUR house to pick up and drop off... Ah the 50's
