Favorite photo of 2008, #1, Tiger baseball

2009 is finally here! Didn't it seem like 2008 took forever.

Here is my favorite photo of the year, of course it is sports related. It was first posted on April 25th. I like taking action shots, I can't wait until this years baseball season begins.

Today is Monthly Theme day around the CDP network. There are 151 sites taking part, click here to view thumbnails for all participants.

Super action shot, Jim. Keep 'em comin'!

And your thought-provoking reminders of those fighting for us, like your #2 photo of the sign at the Koffee-Kake. Thanks, Jim.

Super action shot, Jim. I confess I don't understand American sports games but that's my problem! Perhaps you don't understand cricket. ha ha

I was very moved to read your post about Mr. Emard. Let's hope this year brings less violence and more peace in teh world. Happy new Year, Jim.

A very cool action shot.....love the bat......a very good choice but you have so many to chose from......I hope you had a fabulous New Year's Eve. I have really enjoyed your part of the world....perhaps you would like some of our cold? at least the snow is gone......for today...

This makes perfect sense to me that you would choose one of your great sports action shots, full of tense energy and the power of the moment. I love your shots around town, too, especially people shots, but the scenes that bring a real flavor of Terrel to life for us all. And I have to say, I love seeing pretty girls at homecoming and summer fairs and the particular quality of light that you capture in so many shots. I want to thank you for your many visits and comments in 2008, and for your WONDERFUL humor! You make the blogosphere an immensely friendly and fun place, Jim. Blessings to you in 2009, and lots more camera fun!

Well, I'm from the other side of the coin....my year flew.... I'll still wondering where it went.

But I look forward to 2009 and finding new pictures to snap and new stories to tell.

I've really enjoyed your post and your sense of humor this past year.
