The Porch in Canton

Another picture from yesterdays trip to First Monday Trade Days in Canton, Tx. It is hard to describe how large this event is in a few pictures. If you love to shop or just browse, you have to make the trip.

City lights

OK, how about City light.
This is another picture taken last night.
I like the different colors of the trees because of the reflection of the light.

Go Tigers

Thankfully, Terrell is small enough to only require one High School.
Sept. 28 the Terrell Tigers will take on Highland Park in their Homecoming game.

Signs will be going up along the route from the High School to the Stadium. Here's one already up.

Progress

It may not be much, but there is progress in the old building on Moore and Francis since the last picture, and at least we know it will be saved from the wrecking ball.

More pictures from Lake Tawakoni State Park

Here are a few more pictures taken yesterday at Lake Tawakoni State Park and Wills Point. I have been out to the lake before, but it was my first time at the State Park. I definitely plan on going back. I also plan on taking another trip to Wills Point and get some pictures of their historic buildings.

Tawakoni State Park spider web

Everyone has been talking about the giant spider web out at Tawakoni State Park. I figured I might as well make the trip out there today and see whats left. Below are the pictures taken today around 1pm. One of the volunteers said the web wasnt as big as it was last week because of rain.

Here is a picture of the south side of Moore Ave, with 107 W. Moore in the middle.
