Calf roping at Wade Arena, Terrell, Texas

Roping every Thursday night at Wade Indoor Arena in Terrell. This was taken last Thursday, they had quite a few riders that night.


This is going to be a very busy and stressful week.....I have my Fantasy Football draft on Saturday. Go Doormats!

Cowgirls?

Is that a proper name now days, cowgirls? Should it be cowladies? That doesn't sound right, I might get walloped if I call'em that. The men are not the only ones taking part in the calf roping. There are a couple of ladies that also rope. Just as good as the men. Calf roping is every Thursday night at Wade Indoor Arena. I saw a sign that Monday nights in July is saddle roping. Not sure what that is, but I think I need to find out.

Real Cowboys

I was asked in the comments yesterday where were the cowboy hats. Here are a couple of cowboys still wearing the cowboy hat. Not all of the riders are cowboys though. I will show you one tomorrow.

Skywatch Friday-Wade Indoor Arena, Terrell, Tx

Last night was calf roping at Wade Indoor Arena in Terrell. During the break between rounds, I caught these cowboys waiting just outside the arena doors trying to catch a breeze. Every Thursday night Wade Indoor Arena has team calf roping. Its a great way for me to practice taking pictures and its fun to watch.
