NETFAA, Paint Historic Terrell paintout

Starting last Saturday and continuing till the 28th, The Northeast Texas Fine Art Alliance is holding a 'Paint Historic Terrell' event. Artist can use any fine art media to document the historic homes of Terrell. On the 28th there will be a reception and prizes awarded for the best work. The homes are all identified with a NETFAA Paintout sign. I went by the City of Terrell Marketing Center today and they have approximately a dozen homes listed on the Paintout and already have a couple of paintings finished.

How cool is that! I wish I could paint or draw...I am woefully lacking in the artistic skills department. I can't even draw a straight line with a ruler. Such a neat contest though...wish the THS art teacher could have the kids participate but it's just 18 and up I see. I will have to go by there and see some of the finished pieces. Thanks for keeping us informed. :)

I love anything that has to do with art. (Sorry I've been gone so long. if you ever look at my other blog "Past Tense" you can see why on the 1st poem and the comment with it)
