Favorite photo of 2008, #4, Fourth of July fireworks

This was originally posted on July 6th. It was taken during the annual 4th of July fireworks in Ben Gill Park.

This was the last photo of four pictures that I took starting with the the sunset and ending with this one, when the fireworks started.

I wonder what the fireworks will look like with my new camera? You will have to stick around until July to find out.
Click on the fireworks label below for all of the 4th of July pictures.

For Dallas Cowboys fans, I wanted to repost this picture.

Fireworks are so difficult to photograph. You did a good job. I especially like the stream at the bottom of one heading up towards the sky!

Yep, this one is a good one, too, Jim! And you're a merciless one, dealing with those poor ol' loyal Cowboy fans like that. LOL!

About the photo with the wires, they're above the street, I took the photo from the bathroom window, 4th floor. As for the spacing of the vehicles, the red truck back up for some reason, and the other two are the same ones in back and in front of the red truck all along.

Leland drove our Buick today, right over to the tire store to buy some chains to keep in the trunk. I'm afraid of the next snow storm, especially since he has quite a drive to school.
