Yesterday we made a trip up to the casino for Brian's Grandmothers birthday. They were immediately attracted to this sign.

County clean up

Prior to the storms Saturday evening, Kaufman County had a county wide clean up. County residents could take trash to the dump without having to pay for a permit. Here is Brian and a County employee unloading some trash before the bad weather rolled in.



The storm Saturday night created a lot more debris, mainly trees and fence panels. They City of Terrell has put out an announcement about the storm cleanup. The City also has a scheduled clean up date set for May 16th. This one for City residents only.

Be sure to keep checking the Tribune and Herald links on the right for the latest news for Terrell and Kaufman. There may be an announcement today coming from Kaufman ISD.

High Rollers

Brian and Kim somewhere between Dallas and Houston playing cards on Southwest Airlines. Kim was making the trip to Vicksburg and we tagged along.

They found the 7 of spades under Kim's foot when we landed. She said it was an accident. :-)
