First Methodist Church, Terrell, TX.
I hate when the time changes in the fall. I'm never ready for it. Taking pictures after dark is not fun. I have never been able to get a good shot of this Church. This is probably one of my better ones.

Doomed?
This doesn't look good. An empty building that had asbestos removed last month now has a chain link fence surrounding it. I started this blog back in 2007 to try to preserve pictures of old buildings in Terrell that seemed to turn into parking lots or a grass lot over night. I hope I'm wrong and this is just the start of renovations.

My photo that hung in the Creative Arts building at the State Fair of Texas. I received Honorable Mention in the edited photo category. Not bad for a contest open to the entire state.

Civic Auction
Last night was the Terrell Chamber of Commerce Civic Auction held at S&S arena, a huge indoor rodeo arena. The place was full of items for a silent and live auction donated by area businesses. I donated a quilt made with pictures of the remodeled Memorial stadium. It was sold for $450, I was happy. The food was by Soulmans BBQ and was great.
