Saturday morning was the That Dam Lake Texoma 5K run. Knowing how fast, or slow, I am, I usually start in the back. I hate the people that start at the very front, then when the horn blows, they start off walking or jogging very slow.
Well Saturday, I decided I wanted to be in the front. So, I wobbled my way up to the front and waited for the GO signal. As soon as it started, I felt a rush.....not a 'let's do this rush', but a rush of people passing me as I slowly jogged my way from the starting line. I learned my lesson, never start near the front again.
I jumped out right before the start and took this picture.
