Favorite post #5

Today I start posting my favorite pictures. Today will be #5 and I will count down until I get to #1 on New Years Day. I only have 7 months to choose from, so some of these may seem recent.

Favorite #5

Cement mixers in a row

This was first posted November 3rd. I think I like this pick because of its uniformity. All trucks in a row, waiting to begin their day. Since I took the picture, I have noticed them lined up every time I pass by.

I really like the uniformity in this shot....and that they are able to travel a road in such order is amazing.

I love big construction machines, cranes, trucks, etc. They are fun to shoot, since it's pretty obvious what they are up to. When you see that may cement trucks, you don't know what they are working on, but you know it's big.

This is really funny!

Seems to be a big project; a new highway? I like this vanishing point of ready mix trucks.

This lineup makes them appear really serious about the job they have to do!

You picking this photo makes me wonder - do you prefer neatness in your surroundings? {Like I do!} It certainly brings neatness, to my mind.

And I love it... your saying in a comment, that you have 3 days left to eat. Then comes the annual New Year's diet. Isn't this the way with 90% of people?!? {People who are lucky enough to have way toooo much to eat, at their disposal, that is. People like us.}

Ahhh yes, with the New Year, comes the time for eating healthy again and exercise again!!!!

Great idea, the countdown. And this one is worth the re-visit.

:) It is uniform, energetic and I swear I can smell testosterone all the way here.

They are like soldiers, all lined up there. Soldiers marching, marching . . .

I laughed that you thought Santa was handcuffed. How else was I going to get him to come to my grown-up household?

I'd hate to be run over by that! :)

All set and raring to go!

Like how the line of trucks forms a visual line through the photograph at an angle.
