Oklahoma State dominates Purdue in the Heart of Dallas Bowl

It took the Cowboys from Oklahoma State seven minutes to score yesterday in the Heart of Dallas bowl, but once they started they never stopped.  They raced out to a 24-0 lead at half time and crushed Purdue 58-14.  Clint Chelf was 17-22, passed for 3 TDs and was named the game MVP.  J.W. Walsh also played QB for the Cowboys and threw 2 TDs.  As a team Oklahoma State had 524 yards of total yards of offense.

Robert Marve, the Boilermakers QB, ended the game 21-34 and 212 yds but he did throw 2 interceptions. They ended up with 5 total turnovers.

Announced attendance was 48,313.  The Heart of Dallas Bowl proceeds will benefit the Metro Dallas Homeless Alliance, a non-profit group of 53 agencies committed to fighting homelessness in the Dallas area.
