Terrell, Texas Monday Morning Mashup

Visited First Monday in Canton on Saturday.  It was very crowded.  I took my camera, but put it away when the crowds started bumping into me.

Popular Halloween costumes were Texas Rangers baseball players and people wearing Tony Romo jerseys complete with arm in a sling.

The Tigers football season comes to an end this Friday in Ennis.  The varsity squad will be looking to finish the season with a .500 record.

The Texas Longhorns lost to Baylor?  They have better chance playing at the Cotton Bowl more than in Cotton Bowl.

Yesterday was the Marine Corps Marathon.  I know three people who ran the race.

Next Saturday is the Speak up for Kids CASA 5K in Rockwall.   Lonestar CASA is Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children in Rockwall and Kaufman Counties. Read more about their history and mission here.  I ran 39.7 miles last month.

Thank goodness, tomorrow is election day and we can quit hearing about, and seeing the negative ads on television. On Wednesday we can listen to who did want wrong, who won that should have lost, recounts, disputes, and how this was the most important election in years.  Six months from now, we will be hearing about how the new members of Congress are no different than the ones they replaced.
