It took over 3 hours and 14 innings but the Tigers beat Poteet 1-0 last night to earn the final playoff spot.

I've watched these kids grow into men in the last 4 years.  Tonight will be senior night for them prior to the baseball game.

Terrell played early in the afternoon yesterday, so I went out to Mesquite to watch North Forney play Poteet.  Bubba Valdez pitched a good game for North Forney but they lost 5-0.

The Tigers hosted the Bulldogs last night at Ben Gill Park.  The Bulldogs went back to Royse City winners, beating Terrell 8-3.  The Tigers play again tonight at South Garland.

I tried to get him and his date to pose together for a picture but she was in a hurry to get somewhere.

Last night was prom night in Terrell and I was honored to take pictures of these fine kids.  I hope everyone is satisfied with the pictures.  I'm not used to taking pictures of people standing still.

In addition to watching a 5K and a triathlon this weekend, I also got to see the pig races at the Jubilee.

Wiki Wiki Man Triathlon

This morning was the Wiki Wiki Triathlon at Lake Tawakoni.  They have an individual race and a team race.  Brian Loncar Racing Team won the team title.

Friday night the Tigers beat West Mesquite 4-2 on TARA night.

 The rain came and went and turned into a nice night at the carnival.

Tigers play Heath tough but give up late run and lose 3-2

Mychal Alsip had two hits for the Tigers and scored both runs against the #1 ranked 5A team in Texas.  The score was tied 2-2 until Heath scored a run in the 6th inning.

The carnival is coming to town for the Heritage Jubilee.  They probably will be set up and ready to go Wednesday night, with Thursday usually family night.

The Tigers traveled to Mesquite last night to play the Poteet Pirates.  They scored 1 run in the 1st inning without getting a hit and Kris Priddys pitching made that hold up.  Terrell won 1-0.

Tigers drop a close one

The Tigers went 10 innings again, this time coming out on the losing end of a 3-2 score to Royse City.  Kris Priddy pitched 9 innings for the Tigers striking out 16 batters.  He also knocked in both Terrell runs with a 1st inning single.

Rockwall Heath's Tyler Ivey no hits North Forney

Terrell played an early game yesterday so I traveled up 205 to watch North Forney play Rockwall Heath.  Heath is ranked in the top 5 in the state and it showed Monday and Tuesday night.  

Monday night they beat Terrell 10-0 and last night they beat North Forney 11-0.

The varsity softball and baseball teams both played rain out make up games last night against Rockwall Heath and both teams came out on the losing side.

Dallas Rock n Roll Half Marathon

Just the start of another Rock n Roll Half Marathon, this one in Dallas!  They had a new course this year and it was a fun run.

Last night was the Terrell boys soccer senior night.  Some students tried to get away from the rain by staying in the press box. They were kicked out and had to join us other wet people.
