Concert by the Lake

Josh Weathers Band performed last night at the Concert by the Lake in Rockwall.  The rain ended just in time for the band to go on and put on a fantastic show.

I'm still uploading pictures from the triathlon.  There will be about 2000 pictures when finished, there are about 500 already up.  I took a break last night and played around with this one.

Last night was the Terrell High School spring sports banquet.  It signals the end to the athletic school year.  Pasta dinner was provided by Rocco's and awards were handed out to all of the spring sports.

Spring Fall Classic

Brian and I shot pictures yesterday at the Spring Fall Classic Triathlon.  Now we are going through the pictures and identifying runners by bib number, which is not always located on a bib. All of the pictures will be posted to www.terrellphoto.com.

Last night the Tigers ended their year on a down note, losing to co-district champ Highland Park.

Would a peacock be a critter?  One of the animals out at the Klenke farm in Missouri.  Along with chickens, ducks, mules, horses and wild cats.  We also saw deer, fox and pheasant.  Nice to get home and eat store bought eggs instead of those direct from the chicken. LOL

Senior night

Tonight is Senior Night for the Tigers baseball team.  Nine Tigers will be playing their final home game.  They have grown up a lot in four years.

Jubilee weekend

The annual Terrell Heritage Jubilee starts tonight with family night at the carnival.  I'm going to miss it this year, I'm off to Missouri to attend a wedding.

Pregame embarrassment

I was called out onto the field before Friday nights baseball game against Forney. The parents, players and coaches all wanted to say thank you to me for taking their pictures over the years.  I started taking pictures at the games when the current seniors were freshmen. I was given a practice warm up and a gift card.  Saying I was embarrassed is an understatement.

A friend mentioned an app for my iPhone called snapseed.  Since the baseball game was cancelled last night, I went over to Ben Gill Park to check out the new app.  I think I like the bottom picture best.

While playing for the JV Tigers, Alex Whiteside made an outstanding catch, fouled off a tough pitch that went off the bat handle near his hands and ended up coming out of the game after hitting heads with the another outfield going for the ball.
