That's a LOT of lights! I'm glad someone felt like decorating. Folks around here didn't put up nearly as much either. I suppose the economy has put a little bah humbug in all of us.

About getting to work in Portland, Oregon, today, I found out about 9:30 p.m. last night that my building won't open until noon today which ought to help. Plus TriMet is running, slow but regular. I plan to leave at 10 a.m. because and ought to be able to catch one bus on Burnside, then the other one down by the elk in the park. I can't imagine how much new snow has fallen during the night--I woke up at 2 a.m. and looked out, snowing. Then when I just woke up and looked out, snowing even bigger flakes.

There aren't as many lights up here either - maybe no one can afford the big electricity bill.
I always wonder where people store all that stuff...hopefully, they don't leave it in the yard?

We only have three houses on our street with lights. I noticed there are not that many decorations on homes. How sad!
